On 27 June 2026, between 8.30 pm and 10.30 pm, there was a temporary disruption to our services caused by a network fault at our hosting provider.

Unfortunately, this resulted in brief outages lasting a few minutes across the individual EGOCMS instances. No data was lost.

Cause
An external network disruption meant that our Kubernetes nodes were temporarily unable to communicate with one another. This triggered a cascade of problems, including the inability to start new containers or manage existing ones. In addition, suspicious requests from external IP addresses were detected, suggesting a possible DDoS attack.

Solution
Once the network disruption had been resolved by our hosting provider, our cluster recovered automatically.

Current status
All services have been fully available again since 22:30. We are continuing to monitor the systems closely and are working on additional measures to increase the resilience of our cluster.

Apology
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding. Should you continue to experience any issues, please contact us at or by telephone on +49 (0) 6261/84694-1.

Update 28 June 2026 01:20

All systems are up and running. The issue was resolved by the hosting provider at 01:09 following the completion of all tests. No further incidents.
