At EGOTEC, we attach great importance to data protection, security and digital sovereignty. All AI and LLM (Large Language Models) solutions are hosted exclusively on our own servers in Germany - or directly on your premises as part of our lalamo.cloud project. This ensures that no data is passed on to third-party providers or US technology companies. You retain full control over your content and avoid dependencies on external cloud services.
With self-hosting solutions, we support our customers in operating AI systems independently and in compliance with the GDPR. This is a decisive advantage, especially for authorities, research institutions and companies with high compliance requirements. The University of Jena already relies on self-hosted AI solutions and connects them with EGOCMS. Self-hosting not only protects against data outflows, but also strengthens resilience against external influences - an aspect that is becoming increasingly important in the face of threats such as Russian propaganda.
